We have been successfully serving the UK manufacturing industry since 1974 – now as part of the Citizen group, famous also for its precision watches and electronics. Our products encompass Citizen’s extensive range of high-performance Cincom sliding head CNC lathes and Miyano fixed head CNC lathes.
Citizen is the world market leader with its Cincom CNC sliding head lathes in the range up to a diameter of 38mm; Miyano leads the field of fixed headstock lathes with a bar diameter range up to 64mm and larger billet sizes.
Citizen stands for innovation at the highest international level. The best example of this is our LFV (Low Frequency Vibration) technology. This is a universally applicable and highly efficient cutting technology that allows for chipping swarf from almost all part geometries from the most varied materials. Swarf is broken up in a controlled way thus eliminating machine stops due to tangled stringy swarf.
